Booker Group
The Booker Group are an influential collection of landowners and industrialists from the city of Goldbutte, in the Glass Prairie. They are seen as the city's de-facto government, extending their influence some miles into the Prairie itself. They have grown very interested in forming an independent nation in the region, with Goldbutte as its capital, and them as its leaders. They desire a state that will be at the whim of their corporate needs, and one that will make them very rich.
They are staunchly opposed by the Whippler Cartel, who originate from the city of Chipana, also in the Glass Prairie. Together, they are both locked in the Race for Prairie Independence.
The Booker Group are led by William Booker, who established the group in Goldbutte, sometime during the Great Revolution, coming to control the city by the beginning of the Interregnum.
