Lake Udokuhe

Lake Udokuhe is one of the largest lake in the Sautahn empire, only second the Lake, Unosakutahn. It stretches roughly 900 miles in surface area. It's famous for it's legend of the fishfolk and the myth that surrounds that.

Geography

The lake is a large a deep one surrounded by many hills and the Irudu Mountains to the south. At the western ridge of the lake is the Udoru River which leads out into the Sautahn Bay. Udokuhe is know for it's natural gloom and autumn like beauty. It rests peacefully with maple trees reflecting off of it. Due to the mountain ranges that suround it. It's often basked in a shadowy cloak which make it's murky waters even darker.

Fauna & Flora

Deep in the Udokuhe lake, lies the half man, half fish folk creature known as the merman. They creep out from their deep waters and feast on children that have wandered too far from home. Or so they legends say. Most of the animals that live in or around the lake are, deer, snakes, and the gureku koi fish. Around the shore are common maple and oak trees that dot the lands. The lake is bountyful with life and brings many aquatic goods to the local populaces that live around the lake.

Natural Resources

The most common good found here is the abundant fish life provided to many of the people who live here. The area also makes decent hunting grounds, providing most deer as well as foxes and red wolves. However, many people consider wolves a spiritual icon and avoid hunting them or might worship the beast as a gift from the Immoratl Imperion.
