Long ago the world burned. Until his rampage was stopped by an alliance of the greatest heroes in known history, Dahak, the god of dragons rent the lands and boiled the seas, and made the air seethe with flame. Great nations were razed to the ground with no trace left of their ancient glory, and countless species were brought to extinction. The true extent of what was lost cannot be known as what came before was wiped from the pages of history as they also burned.   In the centuries since the Endless Destruction was Ended, battered survivors of that time began to rebuild. Many peoples formed from the bands brought together under those great heroes who saved the world. They reclaimed much of the continent where Dahak was defeated and build nations out of the ashes. One such nation was the Empire of Kiyoshi, it's capital grown from the first city founded after The Destruction into a glittering metropolis and bastion of civilization. Unquestionably the dominant force on the continent of Londe, this vast empire began looking outwards across the sea and wondering what had happened to the rest of the world. Surely there must be something more out there, and they were going to find it.
