Averga

Free from the shackles of the Veral, the Averga gave themselves that name as they settled upon the tropical bank of the Oasis ****   They were finally free. In fighting for so long they had not known peace until now, and with peace they brought themselves into their own. Their own culture, their own music, their own inventions. The Averga became known throughout the world as they began to train harder than all others, invite those who were once their enemies into their halls, and make peace. This leading to one of the first and largest cross raced cities to the four kingdoms, before even Centralis began accepting Veral into their guilds.   Averga are of all races who see themselves as Averga and who call Azoeth home, and have sworn their alleigance to the Grand Admiral Seselis.   Where the MusVera demanded unity, the Averga created it by combining freedom of thought, and the sanctuary of a home. Starting from the ground up they became a force that nothing could stand against and in doing so assured their own uniqueness among the other humans in the world.

Shared customary codes and values

They value peace, and Freedom the most. Fighting for it for so long and finally obtaining it the Averga relish in all aspects of being able to freely express themselves. Whether it be in anger or in sadness, the Averga are open, and honest and loving and kind and show their true selves on their sleeves trying not to hide behind any secritive structures of what dictates normal Verallian and Terrisian soceity.

Average technological level

They are unique in that mixing Human tenacity for building and inventing new aspects and Terrisian glyphagy and Sigilistic magics with Verallian Physi, the Averga have attained new heights of electronic and technological achievments.

Common Etiquette rules

It is good to show physical contanct. It shows that one is of good health and in good spirits. The more physicality one shows, even to strangers, the more polite you are being.   Of course their is a limit to when and how much physical affection is shown to one's neighbor.   Certain signs of touching can show respect while others show displeasure, such as where one places a hand upon an arm or shoulder.   Ie: Two men greeting each other. The proper greeting is to say the name of the individual or if a stranger call them brother/sister, while simultaneously smiling and placing forheads to one another while cupping the back of the others head. The forehead touch is informal showing personal relation in some way while formality requires a tilt or a nod of the head to the respected patron.   Saying goodby is similar in the touching of forheads to the back of the hand, if informal one also kisses it and say the others name (Calls them brother/sister).

Common Dress code

From full coverings in the depths of Undava to the half naked pure white cloth standing next to Lake Gradnuer in Azoeth their clothing comes in a variety of types.   Depending on the job, what station one is, and whether or not they are part of Azear school their clothing often helps to depict their title and where they are within the community.   Often however during freetime most above ground that live in Azoeth will go scarcely clothed with wide legged pants and loose scarfs over the chest area, whether they be man or woman, mostly wearing lighter colored clothes. Due to the cold at night and within Nifeil, they also sport heavier cloths of dark scale that retains heat and keeps them warm in the damp cool places of the Undava, as well as during night.   While most Averga are dark skinned and have sun resistance there are those of both the Verallian and Terrisian origins of Averga, of where they live within Azoeth, that require heavier colors and more skin coverage due to their lighter and pale complexions.

Art & Architecture

The art here is widespread and known. Many authors, scribes, artists, musicians, beast tamers, performers etc. Come to Azoeth to try and make a name for oneself or even just to be around fellow artists. Azoeth is full of color and culture, often having bright waving symbols , or tertiary designns, some flat and monotone as all of it is considered art.   The freedom to express oneself is full here and even some artsists have begun to collaborate and make uniquely drawn comics depicting stories and legends from the past, some begining to make stories up as they go.   A newer visual medium has also been acquired in glyphagy and in the technological advancements that are quickly being made in Azoeth.

Historical figures

Seselis Mirtis: The Grand admiral of the Azear and hero, and legend of the Freeing war. He still lives to this day helping the newer generations of the Azear become what they are meant to be and continues to instill honesty and violition into those that take up the Azear mantle.   Nahn the Priestess: The heiharchal head of the council of Dagonir who took the mantle after her father was killed upon the fields of Tiberus, named so after his sake, and who worked with Seselis in an attempt to both passify and unify the warring Veral and Humans. Her ploy was successful somewhat and some Veral, being won over moved to the desert region of Aethzier and began living with the Averga.

Ideals

Gender Ideals

One's gender is ones own. They do not impose upon each other a masculine or feminine role as all genders fought in the Freeing war. And all hands mattered. There were jobs that each held true to a single person that they believe only that person can hold.   This gave the Avera a type of respect for all genders and there is a freedom of being able to express oneself in whichever way that person sees fit.

Relationship Ideals

Relationships within the Averga is different from most as there are a plethora of differential relationship ideals. From being in a polyamorous relationship to having traditional coupling.   All version and all sorts of interpersonal relationships are up for grabs.
