Humans
They are blind to the magic of the world.
They see not the desires, the symbols, the fleeting energies that rest in the other races. They cannot feel it, They cannot sense it.
Life is foreign to them. The only thing the Humans have are themselves, and in themselves they find solace, peace.
Like the Terrans of the world they are everywhere, however unlike the others they are forced, Dragged from their huts, their homes. Their cities ransacked, they are taken and bound into slavery, or service, They are used as fodder for the frontlines.
Humans do not know peace because they do not know the life of this world. Because of this they are looked down on, spat on, stepped over. They are animals to be used to do the powerfuls bidding.
However, not all Humans experience this, there are those that shy away from the peering eyes of the magic wielders, those who can build, those who can invent, who collect, who achieve.
The Avera, the finders of the oasis.
The Southerners, those who inhabit SouthMarsh.
The Lais who live to the East of Yggsil.
All free, all fine within their communities, fighting and prospering in their own rights, protected by their designs.
