Street Entertainment
Street entertainment is a popular pastime for a brief respite during the day for many Eisenvolk. While typically more popular with middle and lower class citizens, particularly good acts can even stop some of the most noble of citizens.
Street entertainment runs the gamut from musicians and singers to short comedy acts, stage magicians, con-men and game runners, jugglers, fire eaters, and other more physical performers like acrobats and contortionists. Most acts are short to entertain the passer-by for the hope of a few copper or silver.
Street performers in Novandria must have a license and are only welcome in the merchant and lower class areas. Noise ordinances in the city mean that a busking and performance license are required to legally perform.
Participants
Some performers may be low-ranking or aspiring members of The Most Noble Society of Bardic and Performing Artisans, though you may rarely find a Jorneyer or Master doing a "secret" performance for any who happen to catch them.
