Celia Dalston is trained Wizard (Order of the Scribe), who came from humble birth in Novandria, Eisen. At age 15 she showed enough promise in magic to be admitted and given a scholarship to The Academy of Adventuring Arts. Upon graduating three years later, she convinced several of her class mates to join the adventuring company she was forming.
Over the next several years she led her company very successfully making a name for herself and a tidy sum. By the time she decided to retire her company consisted of three groups that worked together and received requests from people all over Europa.
She sold her interest in the company to her second and settled down, opening a small shop that specialized in high quality spell scrolls and spell books. It was during this time she also took an interest in civic duty.
This was also the time she met her future Husband, Lord Inganno Swiftstep, one of the most flamboyant Halfings in Novandira. According to Lord Inganno he fell in love with Celia at first sight, but pursued her for eight moths before he convinced her to accompany him out.
Currently Celia serves as Mayor for Novandria, Eisen after having won re-election in March of 1883.
Personality
Celia is a no-nosense type person who believes that things should be fair and efficent. She is well known for rolling her eyes at her husband's antics. She has a love of helping people, espcially children, but she is often considered very reserved by those who don't know her well or pick up on the subtle clues. Many have found amusement in that her reserved manner seems to cause children to flock to her. Celia loves books and has a large private library where she periodicly holds public readings. It's said that a trip to the library is how her husband managed to get her to go out with him.Residence
