A seasoned elder, responsible for overseeing the spiritual growth and development of the congregation. Elder Olssyn guides individuals in their personal faith journeys, providing one-on-one mentorship, and facilitating small group discipleship programs and meetings.
Elder Olssyn also leads the annual pilgrimage south to Hefftengärd, a picturesque village nestled between majestic fjords and waterfalls. Hefftengärd, with its gentle climate and breathtaking scenery, is an ideal location for a spiritual pilgrimage. The area's natural beauty, infused with the tranquility of the Hefften wilderness, creates a perfect setting for spiritual reflection and renewal. Participants of the pilgrimage can expect guided boat tours through the Hardanngerfjord, waterfall walks, mountain ascents, and fellowship with the locals of the village.
