This sizeable facility has training spaces, job postings, and serves as a kind of community hall for adventurer's to connect. It also has some basic beds and rooms available for members of the guild to use at very reasonable rates.
However, food and drink are not served here -- for that, members must patronize taverns and inns. This is by design and in accordance with guild rules. Advneturers often bring a certain amount of wealth with them when they return to town, and the Adventurers Guild maintains good relationship with the other taverns, inns -- and even brothels by encouraging their members to visit other establishments.
Thus, while a man-at-arms might be hired here, one must visit the Smithy to refit armor or purchase new weapons, for example.
