The standard Non Weapon Proficiency links this to Herbalism. However this skill is also a sub-skill of Alchemy, In this case the locating of, distilling of, and creation of poisons of different types, is all covered in this skill. The skills and equipment involved are however identical to Alchemy and can how with Venom Handling/Toxicology as much as Herbalism.

Special Modifications include:
The Character's Constitution Bonus to Hit Dice should also be added to this proficiency (when making poisons. Example, Gilbang the Dwarven Scout has 17 Con and 15 Wis. He gains a +2 to HP/Hitdice, his ability to make a Poison would normally be 13 (Wis-2), but his Con bonus puts this skill up to 15 when making poisons. The making of a poison takes concentration, but also constitution to withstand the fumes, and the stress of making the poison.
