Spurrier Guild

Overview

The Spurrier Guild specialise in the making of Spurs. These are of utmost importance to Knights and nobility. A Knight cannot be made a full Knight (Level 10) unless he or she receives their custom spurs.

Silver Spurs

The Silver spurs are purchased for Squires - Esquires of the Knightly Orders. They allow the would-be knight to be control the horse with the legs, kness and feet more effectively, enabling mounted combat to be more effective. The Silver Spurs are a sign of the Knight's station. They increase the Animal Training check of the rider +1

 

Golden Spurs

The Goldenr spurs are purchased for Banneret Knights in  Knightly Orders. They allow the knight to be control the horse with the legs, kness and feet more effectively, enabling mounted combat to be more effective. The Golden Spurs are a sign of the Knight's station and also give a +1 to Riding Skill Checks requiring a check on control whilst in combat. They can be taken as a sign of defeat of the wearer in combat - and give 5 to honor and reputation checks if taken as a prize. The loss of one's spurs gives a -5 penalty to ALL MORALE and LOYALTY checks by followers until regained. They increase the Animal Training check of the rider +2.

 

Golden (Admantite) Spurs

The Golden Admantite spurs are purchased for Knights in Knightly Orders. They allow the knight to be control the horse with the legs, kness and feet more effectively, enabling mounted combat to be more effective. The Golden Admantite Spurs are a sign of the Knight's station and also give a +1 to Riding Skill Checks requiring a check on control whilst in combat. They can be taken as a sign of defeat of the wearer in combat - and give +10 to honor and reputation checks if taken as a prize. The loss of one's spurs gives a -10 penalty to ALL MORALE and LOYALTY checks by followers until regained. These act as magical spurs - allowing the wearer to reduce the taming time of all wild mounts by 50% + the level of the Knight. They also increase the Animal Training check of the rider +2. 

 

Spurrier Gear

  A spurrier can forge custom spurs that include the Knight's crest and sigils within their design.
