Paladins of Zeus - Overview

  The Paladin Orders of Zeus are very diverse. They are self-assured Holy Warriors ensuring that no other Gods are seeking to overthrow their God.

These Paladins consider the Bow Reach to be an accessway to the sacred home of the Cyclopes that created the Thunderbolts and also to be a site of the victory of Zeus over Typhon.  

Divinates

  The Divinates of Zeus are Paladins who have retained the original form of the Kit - they seek to hunt down all evil that tries to harm those who would pray at Athena's temple. In some cases this includes hunting down clerics who seek to convert Athena's followers. The Divinates move throughout Atlantis hunting down any who oppose the Goddess.

Votaries

The Zeupatriarchal Votary considers the followers of any other traditions to be under the thumb - under control and to be kept in that way.

Divinates

The Divinates of Athena are Paladins who have retained the original form of the Kit - they seek to hunt down all evil that tries to harm those who would pray at Athena's temple. In some cases this includes hunting down clerics who seek to convert Athena's followers. The Divinates move throughout Atlantis hunting down any who oppose the Goddess.
 

Militarists

The Militarists of Athena are the Ultimate Militarist - as the Goddess is a Goddess of War - making the act of military service a definite ticket into the Elysian Fields of Heaven.

Votaries

The Athenian Votary considers the followers of any other traditions - except Zeus to be a form of blasphemy.

Paladins of Poseidon - Overview

The Paladins of Poseidon are the Horse-masters of Atlantis.
The Paladins of Poseidon obtain special mounts - Tarpanic Paladin Mounts . They are uniquely formed out of combinations of Holy Warriors, these include the following: Paladins and the following Character Kits:

Chevaliers

  The Chevaliers of Poseidon are from the noble families of Atlantis linked to the Royal Family. These families provide their best troops for the crucial cavalry role and troop management role. They see their military service in the Atlantis Military as a part of their holy service rendered to Poseidon. (Note the Chevaliers of Poseidon use a unique form of Lance with three heads - a Tridental Lance. This is also the badge of their office.

Envoys

 
The Paladins of Poseidon can choose to be an Envoy, such Paladins find themselves dispatched to the edges of the Kingdoms and into the Courts of each of the Inner Kingdoms of Atlantis. The Inner Courts are the more political of placements and often require higher levels due to the need to provide extensive men of arms to aid representatives.

Equerry

 
The Equerries of Poseidon are Horse - Masters, as their God is the Lord of Horses and of the Oceans, the Equerries of Poseidon have access to a wider variety of mounts including Sea Lions (Merlions) and Alicorn (Winged Unicorns).
However, the Equerry of Poseidon's mount will always have better hit points per die than normal - due to the quality of the type of steed. This means that the Inspection Bonus to hit dice rolls is at +3 up to the maximum hit points available per die. are accepted.

Seaguard

The Seaguard Paladin is the Ocean-borne Paladin, a Cavalier of the Oceans. They are the anti-thesis of Pirates and evils from the sea, and although most commonly seen as part of the established naval guardians of the Kingdoms, are also known to Privateer - but only for short periods of time against enemies of the state or Temple of Poseidon.

The Seaguard kit has the same benefits and requirements as the Priesthood of Poseidon, except for weaponry and armor, or where the Priesthood specifically refers to Poseidonic Paladins.
