Lore Scope

The receiver of this skill is developing their knowledge of a target set of items, a culture, ethnicity, or geographical area that allows the user of the skill to make key observations and assessments of what is happening and the reasons why. This allows for easier assimilation into a culture +1, and greater ease in dealing with members of the group +1 in reaction rolls. The character may choose what culture or object sets they wish to obtain an indepth knowledge of and discuss with the GM the nature of the depth and breadth of that knowledge.

The standard Non Weapon Proficiency links this to Genie Lore and several other Lore based skills. This version of Lore skill is the development of a deep knowledge of the subject at hand. It will include knolwedge about the culture, manufacturing processes, legends, myhology, world views, architecture and reasoning of one particular race, object type, cultural ethnicity or species depending on what the character was tasked to do at the time of gaining the skill.


: If the lore subject is a particular object type then it can include everything about how that particular type of object is produced, it's development and evolution, it's uses in different cultures and significance.

RACE/ETHNICITY: This target of a Lore skill includes knowledge of the race or ethnicities tactics, world view, architecture, cultural and social norms, significance of different behaviours, items and even psychology of the race or ethnicity that has been studied.

Genie Lore (P,M; Int):

Grants insight into the world of Genies, both background information and proper protocol for dealing with Genies.
