House of Maethor Warrior

Overview

The Maethor Family are known as expert cavaliers, warriors and rangers - focusing extensively on the use of bows to defend the Elven people. The Maethor are said to have been formed by Artemis as companions for her hunt. It is a family line that has committed itself to the art of hunting and most especially to the skill of archery.

House Sigil

The House sigil is of a form of archery target - normally with a pentacle in the middle and a septacle around the center. The Elven archers of Maethor are expected to be able to hit any part of the target named to them, and the more advanced are expected to hit any TWO sections simultaneously.

House Assets

The Maethorn love to hunt and are said to be blessed by Artemis in this area. They are great hunters in the wilderness and enjoy archery competitions among themselves. 

The Maethorn have extensive and exclusive hunting rights throughout Atlantis and this allows them to gain access to hunting grounds in any area of the continent with minimum fuss and trouble with locals - no matter where in Atlantis they find themselves. They have a natural Persuasion skill along with Hunting as bonus skills to indicate this House speciality.

Bonus Equipment

The Maethor hunters gain an Elven Composite Bow to match their strength at the start of the character. This can sometimes be worth alot of money due to the strength rating and is greatly cared for by the Maethor archers.

Thinnmal House gains Appraising for free, they are experts in valuation, but especially of documents and books (+2 to check)

Social Standing

As members of House Maethor are considered LUC (Lower Upper Class) in Elven Terms, except among Mages, Priests and Sages - who treat them as UMC (Upper Middle Class).
