Overview

The Flintlock pistol is a part of the technologies that have filtered through with the advent of the Chronic Anachronisms in the world, more and more individuals from different times have appeared, some with the technologies themselves and others with the knowledge of how to make them from scratch.

Melee Use

Turned in the hand so that it is held by the barrel, the pistol becomes a small mace with a metal reinforced butt end knob (non-flanged) strike.

This pistol is between 16 and 20 inches long, making it very hard to conceal. It must be held vertical with the barrel facing upwards prior to firing in order to keep the ball from dropping out of the barrel. The more it is moved around the more likely it mis-fires.

Variants

There are four recognised variants of the weapon:

Pistol-Dagger

The Pistol-Dagger is a Flintlock pistol with a dagger blade attached next to or below the barrel - this allows the pistol to be used as a Dagger immediately after being fired.

Flintlock-Axe

This is a combination Flintlock pistol and handaxe attached to the butt end of the pistol for use once the weapon has been discharged.

Flintlock Mace

This is a combination Flintlock and Mace in one weapon.

Flintlock Lantern

This piece is designed to be both a flintlock, and a flint and steel lit lantern - in one item.
