Overview

The Titans are the defeated Gods of Ancient Times. They are largely no longer relevant in the World of Atlantis. However, with the fracturing of time by Chronos, his hope that the Titans would escape from their fate has been partly achieved. Of all the Titans, the Iapationides succeeded.

These four titans are those descended from Iapetes, significantly the Titan God of Mortality. These four Titans would go on to generate the World's evil races far beyond what had been created before on the Material Plane.

Atlas Ἄτλας - Titan God of Heavenly Spheres, Strength & Giantkind

Atlas is the Titan Cod of Astronomy, being responsible for the revolution of the heavens, but also the Titan God of Strength.

Atlas continues his role of holding apart the forces of Heaven (Ouranos) and Earth (Gaia) to keep the two froces from intermingling again and descending into Chaos. He holds the World in place for mortals. From Atlas, the Atlantean Giant Humanoids were created, ranging from Ettins, Ogres, Ogre Magi, Cloud Giants, Fire Giants, Hill Giants, Frost Giants, Stone Giants, and with the influence of Zeus - Titans and Storm Giants.

As the creator of Giant Humanoids - Atlas is worshipped by all Evil Giantkind. Good Giantkind follows Zeus.

Prometheus Προμηθεύς - Titan of Forethought & Humanity

Prometheus unlike the other Iapationides has been openly accepted by the Olympians as a part of their Pantheon.
Prometheus is the creator of the race of Mankind, and has a full Priesthood behind him.
Prometheus is followed by Psionic Endowed Individuals.

Epimetheus Ἐπιμηθεύς - Titan of Hindsight & Animalkind

The brother of Prometheus, Epimetheus created all of animalkind. Some Druids are rumored to pray to Epimetheus.

Menoetius Μενοίτιος - Titan of Violence, & Rash Action

Titan god of violent anger and rash action. created the Evil Races of Humanoids including the Bugbears, Goblins, Gnolls, Hobgoblins, Kobolds, and Trogladytes prior to being 'slain' by Zeus. After being 'destroyed' Menoetius created the Undead.
Menoetius is followed by most humanoids, thankfully this adherence results in minimal coordination between the races.
