Porto Ansia

Porto Ansia is the largest and oldest of the colonial cities on the Dreamfire coast. Founded by the Svanesse along the Rio Maestro in the year 276, Porto Ansia managed to become the defacto capital of western influence in Nabare. With a population of only a few thousand locals, Porto Ansia nonetheless has already managed to grow into a durable settlement -- both in terms of infrastructure and political influence.

With its stone harbor, Porto Ansia is able to serve as a primary port-of-call for all ocean-bound shipping, and services many regional vessels that rove and down the coast in search of trade and treasure. The gleaming white walls host a battery of ballista and arcane cannons able to defend the town against assault from sea as well as land. Finally, the provincial estate and chapel shrine host the colonial governor of Svain, whose open court serves as the primary arena of commercial and political intrigue among all influential representatives, both native and foreign.
