During the daemon wars, a clan of dwarves managed to escape the control of the Kajat and flee deep into the bellows of the underdark. While safe from the encroaching doom, their isolation proved to foster xenophobia. As such, little is known about the Morian dwarves that linger beyond the veil.
Culture The Morian dwarves grew out of a subset of early dwarves that escaped subjugation by the Kajat early on during the Age of. Retreating into the Depths of Terra Duhr, the Morians worked to rebuilding a society without the support of the other civilizations.
The inward focus has cause Morians to develop in odd ways. While they are xenophobic and mistrustful of other races, they are not possessed with a murderous hatred of others - instead, merely seek to preserve their society as it has been built and without change, and are extremely conservative in the introduction of new information into their world.
Adventurers are rare in Morian society, but serve an important purpose of helping to keep Morian society from slowly decaying.
