House of the Gilded Elm

This prestigious mercenary organization has its origins in the formation of the Sciettish Nation. Founded by Iau Bellin, the Gilded Elm gained their name by the ubiquitous nature of their house tree, the Elm. Known to be a pervasive tree, the founders sought to be like their tree, and have a hand in every environment. The thought being that with interaction and involvement comes expertise and experience, which leads to prestige and success.   The Gilded Elm would be slow in completing this goal, but after several generations, the founder’s heirs would make it a reality. Their current leader, Idwall Bellin, now leads over 350 men and women, with experts in several aspects of martial and security training. The Elm boasts contracts with over two dozen separate clients, including several royal and prestigious noble patrons. They are best known for the training of their elite groups, known as Autumn Leaves, or just the Leaves. Leaves often go through extensive training in multiple clients, and several series of trails. Leaves tend not to specialize in any particular skill as a whole; instead each individual group commander selects their members personally, and tailors their skillset to get particular missions.
