Seraythil
The Light that Would Not Die:
Once celebrated as a hero of unmatched radiance, Seraph’s name was etched into the annals of Terra’s history as the savior who banished the Demon Lord, a feat no mortal had ever accomplished. Yet, her triumph came with an unsettling realization: the threats to Terra would never end. Demons would rise again, darkness would creep forth, and time would claim her mortal body before she could see the fight through. Refusing to let Terra succumb to shadow, Seraph made a fateful choice—she sought immortality, no matter the cost. In secret, she faked her death, leaving behind her legacy as a beacon of light. Hidden from the world she once saved, she sought out Valerian, the progenitor of Vampires, and forced him to grant her the eternal life she desired. In that moment, the light within her was extinguished, replaced by an unrelenting darkness.
Ashes of Grace:
Becoming a vampire severed Seraph’s connection to Sol, the god she once served so faithfully. The warmth and radiance that had defined her life were replaced by the cold, unyielding hunger of undeath. Yet, even in this cursed state, Seraph’s will proved unbreakable. She refused to surrender her soul to Valerian’s control, defying the ancient bonds between sire and progeny. Her purity of purpose and iron resolve rendered her immune to his domination, a feat that left even Valerian astonished. Her transformation, however, was not without cost. The absence of Sol’s light weighed heavily on her, and she wrestled with the monstrosity she had become. No longer a symbol of hope, she accepted her new role as a shadowy protector, wielding her dark powers to shield Terra from the very forces that had once consumed her.
Guardian of the Night:
As an immortal, Seraph became a legend shrouded in secrecy. Mortals spoke of a mysterious, unyielding presence that intervened in moments of great peril. She no longer sought the adoration of the people or the blessings of the gods; her only mission was the preservation of Terra, even if it meant embracing the darkness she once fought to destroy. Her vampiric powers gave her unparalleled strength, speed, and cunning, making her a nightmare for those who sought to harm Terra. Yet, she refused to indulge in the predatory instincts of her kind, feeding only when absolutely necessary and never at the expense of innocent lives.
The Silence of the Sun:
Seraph’s transformation created a profound rift between her and The Divine. Sol, her former patron, viewed her with a mixture of sorrow and admiration. Though she had turned her back on his light, her unyielding determination to protect Terra still reflected the ideals he cherished. Yet, their connection was severed, and Seraph felt the void of his warmth keenly.
