General Summary

A flash of bright light brings the group to their senses as they awaken in an ironclad room. The walls are lined with strange cogs, levers, and monitors flashing warnings in an unfamiliar language. After spending some time translating, Kay- Ron deduces the screens are flashing "Experimental Space/Time Fissure #8_ Power: Geotherm. WARNING DANGER DECOMMISSIONED 867 by N-Comm Systems". This revelation only causes panic as the party begins pressing buttons and pulling levers. A strange noise drags their attention to the barred windows, which are being torn apart by something residing in the darkness beyond. Their panic turns to terror as they quickly jump back through the rift, causing Sabrina to fall ill. After coming to, the group decides to disband leaving Old Peculiar alone in Terrorvale. Weeks pass as Kay-Ron, Luna, Razor, and Sabrina spend their time trying to understand or forget what happened in that little town. Soon a familiar face arrives in the form of Edward "Old' Peculiar, though he is looking far past his prime. He arrives on the airship Celaeno, piloted by Skylord Lysander, a loud-mouthed aarakocra, who is here to fly the group to Mistral City to stop a spreading darkness. Once everyone is on board, they take flight, but after a mere couple of hours, the ship's mast is shot by a black arrow. Unable to make the needed repairs everyone on board braces for impact.
