Inheritor Emperor is the title used by the rulers of the Inherited Empire. The purpose of this title is to reinforce the belief in humanity being the inheritors of the elves in the population.

Gender Alternation

Rulers of the Inherited Empire continue an ancient elven tradition of a male ruler always being followed by a female one and vice versa. Historians theorize that it was due to the fact that elves didn't concern themselves with gender very much. As the result of continuing this tradition, the view of gender in the Empire drew closer to that of the elves.
