The Dwarves of Greenland were born under the continent itself. Dewyn created them in his own image and gave them the gift of the forge.
Of less intelligence than the Elves, they held specific skill in the creation of new things, their advanced technology making their lives easier
A meteor landed in Greenland early on into their existence, they named it Sten and worship it as a god.
Basic Information
Anatomy
They ranged 4-5' tall. They have dark bluish black skin and glowing eyes of different colours. Hair is usually black or white. They are strong. Men typically have beards, and both genders are stocky but of similar height.

Ecology and Habitats
They live primarily in a dark, radioactive landscape. Theyve been designed to live well underground and theyve few urges to change this habit.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Due to the fact there is little arrable land in Greenalnd, the dwarves maked do with a mostly meat diet. They breed Green Deer and Giant Rats in their caves for food. The food they supply them with is also eaten by the dwarves, which is mushrooms, moss and lychen. Vegetables are available from Hamnstad farms, but they can be expensive. There is little seasoning as there are no salt and no plants for spices.
Behaviour
They are almost always kind and altruistic, though they put other Dwarves far above anyone else.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
They have a unique way with the earth. Many Dwarves feel the ground shake constantly, and feel off when no longer connected through stone to the ground. This is why they are so apt at building large underground fortresses. They additionally have glowing eyes that allow them to see better in dim light than most other species.

Gender Ideals
Men are often elected to position above women. This is not because they view men as superior, but there is ancient tradition amongst the Dwarves about women working with stone and craft, and the men taking care of organisation and the home.
Courtship Ideals
Men typically court women. Men try to create a comfortable enviroment in their home before inviting a woman over to enjoy each others company. Women will often judge the home and how they are treated before committing to the relationship.

Common Etiquette Rules
Dwarves will usually welcome you into their homes and feed you a meal, especially if you have no where else to go. However they are quick to anger if you would harm them or their family.
Common Dress Code
Most dwarves wear armor or armored clothing as their regular dress.
Historical Figures
Deep Commander Svestrëva Doraschev. Greatest known Deep Commander in history. He helped refound Statfaste as a true capital city.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
They bred heavily with the Ashen Elves upon welcoming them to greenland. Though most hybrids between the species turn out far more Elen than Dwarvish.
