Merius Varconas
Merius Varconas was up until recent events, the reigning lord of House Varconas. He grew up as one of the young masters of House Varconas, alongside his older brother Latinus Varconas. There was always stiff competition for honor, approval, and glory amongst all the Varconas children, and Merius found his way to the top, even superceding his older brother which strained their relationship a little bit.
He found much glory and victory in joining the military as a War Mage. Much like many in his family history, Merious found himself gifted in the magical arts as an evoker. He found decent success in missions handling threats to Kisland. During one mission, he made good friends with Bessemer Steelwing. After his first years in the military, he joined the Steelwing Legion for a time.
During one of his missions, he would meet one Sarmaia, a lady of a minor noble house, and they would court one another. With might, brains, political acumen, and magic in hand, Merius rose to the position of Lord and had been leading the family to prosperity. He and Sarmaia bore one child, Ozeimon Varconas.
In recent months, Merius has fallen out of the Lord position due to politiking from his brother Latinus who now holds the title.
