Steel Tongue
A technical language originally created by the Planners, it was used as a programming language and technical machine code. Over time it came to also encompass directive and communicative elements, finally becoming a kind of trade tongue. It was used for immediate, clear, communication and commands to various computer systems and AIs of various levels. Currently it exists as a kind of technical vernacular vocabulary, having both scientific and mystical uses. Because of the immediate response to it by a large variety of technical and computer systems, including quantum systems, Steel Tongue has developed many short, direct command like phrases that bring about the activation of numerous technological systems or items. These command phrases are known as Utterances and are believed by the uninitiated to be magical in nature.
Geographical Distribution
Steel Tongue is spoken almost exclusively by Nanomancers, Computarchs, Ghost Eaters, and members of the Aeon Priesthood. It can therefore be heard throughout The AEON.
