Lenstad
Lenstad is the Northernmost city of the Dragon Houses. The Dragon Houses are organized into an Imperial Diet. Each house gets to vote on an Emperor, from a noble house family, that becomes the leader of the Empire of Bahamut.
Lenstad is the Home to the Elder Evil Houses, Black, Red, and White. The Green House once had a mighty castle in this territory but it was wiped out by the Red House making the Green House flee southwards.
The Black Mountains are the central feature of the town. being filled with caves and many dragons, sacred to the dragonbron of Lenstad.
Early Times
A group of particularly clever dragonborn develop a technique for making catapult and glider system to allow for short distance flight. This is used in warfare for scouting and assassinations as well as for messages and travel.
The Dragonborn have a flourishing culture of storytelling thier society develops a very strange caste system between each of the colors. Rules forbid intermarriage theaters reinforce traits thier true dragon relatives have making each house distinctly different but also sharing in certain cultural aspects.
A criminal syndicate founded by a collection of Green, Black, and Copper Dragonborn set up in the Northern Marshes of Lenstad. They use kobolds as lower initiates and slowly spread thier influence across the region. The Guild is called the Swamp Snakes
The Dragon Plague
Metallic dragonborn are driven from the city due to a plague inflicted upon them by Tiamat. The Withering Scales is a terrible disease where the dragonborn skin begins to necrotize dropping many of thier scales away. The Metallic Dragonborn found the city of Barrowhome to the south.
A new trade route is established through the Valley to contact Stockzign
The Red House and the White House both claim definitive rulership of the city of Lenstad. This devolves into several bloody street conflicts.
The 1st Dragon Wars
The Republic of the Valley attacks the city of Lenstad and then lays claims to everything south of the Wastes. A bloody war is fought between the Draconian Empire and the Republic ending in the conquest of the Southern Coasts.
A Red Dragon blesses the Red House with its aid. Granting them control over the city of Lenstad and helping them in exchange for a vast horde of treasure. The Dragon was Nidaloi the Magnificent He burned down the Green House when they tried to stop the Red House from taking absolute power over the city.
The city prospers under the now firm defenses given by the Red House leading it into a golden age of culture and wealth. Although, taxes prevent the flourishing city from getting too wealthy as Nidaloi requires hefty sums of the treasury to be emptied out to serve his greed.
A series of protests occur after one particularly harsh tax season and a group of impoverished citizens lead an uprising. They are all killed but the action resonates within the hearts of the people. The Red House comes up with a plan to prevent the dragon from requiring this much wealth from thier subjects preparing for war against the Republic.

The Founding of the Draconian Empire
Bahamut in all his glory blesses the lowly kobolds hiding in the meagre caves and rolling in the dirt of a region they called "Like Stab". Bahamut wanted to bring order to these dragon loving beings and blesses them each with draconic heritage. They grow and gain powerful abilities. Not to be out done Tiamat lets several powerful kobold clans drink and bathe within her blood. This grants them powers aligned to the chromatic dragons.History

Second Dragon War
The war is brutal but sees an influx of wealth spilling into the city. They begin to use it to construct powerful galleys with which they can raid the Northern Coasts of Castleran & Stockzign The White House creates the Military Regiment known as the Eye of the Storm a group of dangerous amphibious assault forces that terrorize the coasts. War profiteering and extortion increase exponentially as the Swamp Snakes begin ramping up thier control of the underbelly of Lenstad. Thier influence also spreads on the tides of war bringing it to the shores of Castleran An unknown culprit stole the Egg of Nidaloi and his mate. They bury themselves in the mountains in despair neglecting thier duties as protectors of the city. Not before destroying many thousands of citizens of the Republic of the Valley The Present Day An attempt was made to dam and drain the Frog Marshes to facilitate better trade with the city of Barrowhome. This ended in a disaster that ended up sinking much of the swamp into a salty sea. A great scholar and prophet of Bahamut arrives in the city of Lenstad and begins to preach justice and law amongst the dragonborn. The majority chromatic town is rather hostile towards his views but he finds some that will listen and grows a following that heads into the Unwelcome Hills and helps him found a chapel to Bahamut. A group of Swamp Snakes are hired by revolutionaries and dissidents within the Republic of the Valley to burn down the Abbey in Stockzign
