Greenwood Avenue

Greenwood Avenue is the name of the street which runs the length of Drakmort's entertainment district. The street and its many venues are a popular nightlife spot for the city's upper crust, as well as visiting Reclaimers looking for a good time while on leave from their duties in the desert.
The majority of the district's venues are overseen by the Drakmort Entertainers' Guild; the Guild is also responsible for distributing certifications allowing the venues to operate, such as licenses to sell liquor within the city's walls.

Notable Locations

• The Mercer Grand Theater is Drakmort's largest and most frequented theater and opera house, where many a hopeful performer dreams to one day make their mark on the city's most prestigious stage. While popular, the theater has a darker side as well, with rumors circulating that the theater is haunted by the spirits of fallen stars unwilling to let go of the spotlight.
• The Castanet Club is Drakmort's most famous brothel, owned and operated by the surly human matron Madame Castanet. While a popular spot for visiting Reclaimers and upper-class philanderers, gossip surrounding the club claims that Castanet and her employees double as information brokers, gathering the secrets of their most noteworthy clientele for unknown and possibly sinister purposes.
• The Gnoll's Head Tavern is a spacious and popular tavern, equipped with a two-story bar, fine food and drink, and live music. The tavern has developed something of a reputation among native Drakmortians for being something of a "Reclaimer bar"; that is, catering primarily to Reclaimers visiting the city on leave. As such, opinions on the tavern itself are fairly mixed among the general public, with some finding the entitled and boisterous Reclaimers to be a nuisance, no matter how stimulating to the city's local economy they might be.
