Grandmaester

The title of Grandmaster is held by the leader of a major or royal-chartered guild, signifying both authority and prestige. A Grandmaster oversees the guild’s internal order, external dealings, and adherence to its founding charter, often holding sway over multiple chapters or cities. While not noble by default, many Grandmasters wield power to rival lesser lords—especially in cities like Crodeux, where trade, craft, or mercenary work shapes daily life.

The title is typically earned through election, appointment, or recognition by a higher authority, such as a prince, duke, or Archduke. Not all guilds use the title; it is reserved for those with significant influence, wealth, or responsibility across a wide territory.
