History

Origins

Cori-Pop was founded in 3487, originally known as Ponogu a Popan. Their first character was a small green alien named Popu, a combination on the Ten'noan word for cute, and the name of the Popa subculture. Ponogu a Popan designed more characters, creating small episodic comics alongside the stationary and merch. Eventually, in 3499, Ponogu a Popan acquired an animation studio, and they began to develop a short series based around the characters.

Rebrand (aka. Gen2)

In 3552, due to the unexpected death of it's CEO, Ponogu a Popan was taken over by an ex-soldier known as Caius Carrion. Caius completely rebranded the corporation, Renaming it to Cori-Pop. He designed several new mascots, often known as the Gen2 Characters, the main one of which; Corr, becoming the face and namesake of the company. Caius also expanded the corporation past merchandise and entertainment, buying several social media platforms and a tech developing company. Most recently, Cori-Pop has expanded into body modifications.

Locations

Cori-pop's main HQ is on the Main Island of Ten'no, but they have several offices all around the world. Cori-pop also has thousands of branded stores across the globe, their most famous of which being the Cori-pop Megastore in Ten'no, which is well know for its in-store activities and sections dedicated to each main character.
