Caius Carrion is an ex-soldier and the current CEO of the Cori-Pop Corporation. He was the desinger for most of their 'Gen2' Characters.

Biography

Early Life

Not much is known about Caius' life before taking over Cori-Pop. He was born in Herriland to a wealthy family. He was homeschooled for the majority of his childhood, where he learnt Ten'noan and many skills relating to business. When he was 19, both of his parents were murdered. Caius joined the Herriland Military in the same year.

Taking Over

In 3552, Caius took over the corporation then known as Ponogu a Popan after the death of their CEO. He renamed the company to Cori-Pop, releasing a range of new mascots known as Gen2. He expanded the corporation's industry past entertainment and merchandise, buying several tech and social media companys. Most recently, Caius has entered Cori-pop into the new world of body modification, releasing a range of cybernetics that match the Popa style.

Image and Reputation

When Caius first took over Cori-Pop, many wondered why such a seemingly 'serious' man would want to run a company based around cute characters. Some thought he would ruin the corporation due to ignorance about the target demographic, but they were soon proven wrong, as he took great effort to preserve the unique style that Ponogu a Popan had while transforming it into Cori-Pop.
Caius also differentiated himself from his predecessors by taking a much more active role in the marketing and image of the corporation, often speaking in interviews about the corporation and its direction. He also sometimes appears in marketing directly. He was once featured in an addition of the magazine Vivid Dreams about his personal fashion and how it relates to the characters of Cori-Pop. This remains one of their most popular editions.

Caius revealed his is a pansexual trans man during Pride 3553 by changing his profile picture on his social media to one with a border of both flags. After receiving some backlash, he posted:

"It's not a big deal, get over it."

Cori-Pop's sales skyrocketed after this post.

Caius revealed that as a child he had an interest in technology and the developing internet. He also plays the violin.

Family

Caius is married, though not much is known about his husband. Caius has stated that his husband wishes to stay anonymous, and has asked for his privacy to be respected.

Misc

Caius is often seen with a robot version of Cori-Pop's main mascot, Corr. He has stated that this is the closest he is willing to get to having a real pet.

Overview

Though stubborn at times, Hawthorne is a well rounded soldier. He excells at his role as a sniper, and has shown brilliant tactical skills. He is currently in SL training.
Lieutenant Brown would like to note that though Hawthorne has proven he has the technical skills of a leader, he is severly lacking in interpersonal abilities, and he should work on these if he wishes to be considered for the role of Lieutenant.

H: I wanted to speak with you regarding the operation tomorow.

B: Make it quick.

H: I've recieved intel that the target may be better prepared for an attack than we originally believed.

B: From who?

H: Our recons, Sir.
H: They reported more defenses going up around the location in the past few days.

B: Anything that we haven't planned for?

H: No...

B: Then we'll just have to be more vigilant.

H: That's not- that's not the point, Sir-

B: Then what is your point?

H: This operation was already risky enough without the possibility of them being ready for us-

B: I appreciate that, but if we attack any later, the artillery could be moved out.

H: So, we're going ahead with the plan?

B: Yes. If that is all, you are dismissed.

Hawthorne nods and leaves the room.

Report

An error during the operation resulted in an explosion. Killing several soldiers and targets. Remains of the soldiers were retrieved the day after the operation. Hawthorne's left forearm was the only part of him that was found. The severed part of the arm is slightly crushed - rest of the body could be under debris. The retrieval mission was cut short due to risk and will not be resumed. Hawthorne is to be considered MIA as the rest of his body could not be recovered. Though as the likelyhood of his survival is small, a search mission should not be considered.

Why am I being followed by ravens and crows?
Ever since I was a child I've noticed that wherever i go, crows and ravens follow me around. I did a bit of research and I know that crows will tell the rest of their flock about nice humans, but I've only ever fed them once or twice as a kid, and this was after i first noticed them following me. When i was a kid i used to love this, it made me feel special, but now it's just creeping me out a bit. I just want to know if theres some kind of behavioural reason i didn't find while researching

The RAUM System

Connecting RAUM to the host's nervous system is a simple procedure an extremely complicated and painful procedure. An implant is placed in the brain which allows the host the same access to any and all information stored on the system, and the feeds of any of the RAUM controlled cameras that the AI itself has. After the procedure, around 6 months of time is required to recover and get used to the new technology.
It is important to note that at first while the host has access to the system, by no means are they in control of RAUM, rather, it's the other way round. RAUM will often convince torture, manipulate, and brainwash the host into wanting nothing more than to gather knowledge for the system. However by ████████ ███ ██████ THE HOST CAN TAKE CONTROL.
If the host takes over, they replace the AI as the controller of the RAUM system. Though the host cannot undo the brainwashing. They will understand that knowledge is vital to the RAUM system and if they want to keep the benefits they should stop fighting it and help gather it wish to stay in control, they have to gather knowledge for the system lest they lose the strength they have gained from it.

Other Cybernetics

During the process of connecting to the RAUM system, Caius gained a few other mods. He was given infrared sensors above his eyebrows, new eyes to accomidate the system better, and a cybernetic arm that was later modified to match the style of Cori-Pop .
