Hobgoblin

The Hobgoblin general stood at the head of the formation, his army behind him marching towards their next destination. They were employed to disrupt trade in the continent of Yaropul, and they were going to do just that. His formations and tactics were planned out; his routes and maps charted with his spies. He was a careful thinker, and he had used every resource at his disposal to benefit the Blue Hammers.   Hobgoblins are the most intelligent of the Goblonoids, and the closest to humans and other humanoids. They pride themselves on military culture and mights, often forming warbands and taking on mercenary jobs or outright waging war on kingdoms. They carry with them a strict code of military honor, and with that a heavy sense of pride and accomplishment. Any insult to a band the hobgoblin is with is to the hobgoblin themselves, and they therefore take it personally.   Hobgoblins would be adventurers if they were cast out of their legion or warband. They wish to be part of a larger force, and will seek out becoming part of a warband of mercenaries or adventurers or remain in isolation permanently.
