The Astral Sea is home to various celestial entities, some of which are hostile to travelers. The Nexus Weaver, Hydrastar, and Aether Raptor stalk and devour unsuspecting travelers who dare to venture into the Astral Sea. However, for those rare individuals who catch its attention, the Anchoron Hound offers a glimmer of hope – a formidable ally in the treacherous expanse of the Astral Plane.

Aurorae in the Astral Sea are breathtaking displays of colorful energy, triggered by solar winds, magnetic field fluctuations, or the resonance of celestial music. However, these ethereal light shows occasionally cast shadows of beings from unfathomable realms, their twisted forms hinting at horrors beyond human comprehension. Those who gaze upon these shadows for too long risk succumbing to madness, as their minds struggle to cope with the eldritch terror. Worse still, if too many witnesses behold the shadowy apparitions, their collective belief can breathe life into a new, terrifying creature. This being, born from the darkness of the aurora, will roam the Astral Sea, seeking to consume the sanity of those who dared to gaze upon its shadowy form.

Astral thunderstorms, on the other hand, are turbulent, electrifying events that shake the fabric of the Astral Sea. These storms unleash powerful blasts of energy, capable of propelling travelers across vast distances or imbuing them with temporary powers. However, they also create temporary rifts or tears in the fabric of space-time, allowing for glimpses into other realms or dimensions.

Lurking within the Astral Sea are the enigmatic and deadly Astral Sirens. These creatures, born from the wreckage of destroyed stars, emit haunting, ethereal melodies that resonate across the cosmos. Their songs are irresistible to ships and travelers, drawing them inexorably toward the Sirens' realm. Once within their grasp, the Sirens feast on the life force of their victims, leaving behind only the shattered remnants of ships and the frozen, starved bodies of those who dared to listen to their song.

Every century, a rare celestial alignment occurs, causing a massive solar eruption that affects the Astral Sea. This event, known as the Astral Reckoning, triggers a catastrophic shift in the magnetic poles of the Astral Sea, creating planar turbulence, dimensional rifts, magical disruptions, and cosmic migrations. The Astral Reckoning is a time of great upheaval and transformation, offering opportunities for discovery, exploration, and heroism. As the Astral Reckoning approaches, the aurorae grow more frequent and intense, casting an increasing number of shadowy apparitions. The astral thunderstorms, too, become more violent, as if the very fabric of reality is unraveling. The Astral Sirens, sensing the impending chaos, grow more aggressive, their songs becoming a cacophony of terror that echoes across the Astral Sea.
