Located off the coast of the continent of Avanir, lies the island nation of Sendon, a picturesque archipelago of islands that form a unified country. The main lands of Sendon refer to the nine main islands: Kodami, Kyushu, Mori, Nanaka, Oshu, Sagami, Shinai, Utsuroi, and Yamasan.
These islands are governed by the wise and powerful Shoguns, who serve under the benevolent rule of the reigning Emperor. The legitimacy of the Emperor's power is symbolized by the majestic Yuan Tower, from which the resonant bell echoes across the land, signifying Heaven's recognition of the Emperor's divine authority. This sacred tradition reassures the people of Sendon, dispelling doubts and uncertainties, and maintaining harmony and stability throughout the realm.
As the ninth reigning Emperor Ashikaga Yoshimasa's health began to decline, he grew increasingly concerned about the looming succession crisis. The rival shogun factions, divided between supporting his brother and his heir Yoshihisa, threatened to plunge the realm into chaos. In a desperate bid to quell the conflict, Emperor Yoshimasa invoked his imperial authority to seal the revered Yuan Tower.
