Captain Umnomm Flubbleblarn Elbee- Tern
Umnomm is a retired Tortle sailor with a wealth of nautical knowledge and a philospher's heart. He is quiet; hailing from Terrapin Isle he was still confused by many of the things these drylanders did, even after living amongst them for a few years now. He has found a suitable niche, for now, in The Golden Swan, where he loves the beer and the food. Their grog is just straight up rum, which he also really enjoys.

Umnomm is actually in fantastic condition, it's just that none of the humans he is currently hanging out with know what that looks like.

Well, the shell is a dead giveaway that he's a tortle.

Umnomm has a few bad scars; one on his upper right lip, and two sections of healed over shell that look as if they had been hacked at with an axe.

They can lay and fertilize their own eggs in order to continue trying to pass on their genetic lineage, but most of these children will not live past twenty years old.

Mental Trauma
Umnomm's last boat went down, and he did not go down with it. He waited til all of the crew were safely off, then he swam for shore. He dare not return home lest they mock him mercilessly as a coward, he thinks.
