Fickle Umberlee

The evil she demon of the open sea, Umberlee's church is spread through the Apocrypha of Fear, which is both a way of life and the name of her priestly orders' instruction manual. She is worshipped out of fear, for she is fickle and spurious, and sees her interactions with mortals as mere moments.   Umberlee's temples are few and far between, widely situated throughout the world in the hidden coves and underwater copses of the world. Her symbol, of two waves facing away from each other, is engraved near docks and on sea walls the entire world around.
In depths where cerulean waves unfurl, Where mysteries of the ocean swirl, Oh, Umberlee, goddess of the sea, We raise our voices in praise to thee.   With billows bold and tempest's roar, You rule the tides, the ocean floor, Your realm, a realm of endless blue, Where life in splendor finds its hue.   Beneath your gaze, the waves they dance, In your embrace, all life's expanse, From coral gardens to kelp's embrace, You cradle creation's sacred space.   Yet, in your depths, a tempest brews, A fickle heart, both win and lose, For you are fierce, a force untamed, And sailors tremble at your name.   But, Umberlee, we know your might, And in your realm, we find our light, With reverence deep, we raise our plea, Grant us safety upon the sea.   In storm and calm, we sing your song, To you, our goddess, we belong, To the depths of the trench, we'll sail, With your blessing, we'll prevail.   Oh, Umberlee, with love profound, In your domain, we're forever bound, Guide us through the ocean's expanse, In your name, we take our chance.   So, hear our prayer, our voices rise, To the goddess of the sea and skies, Umberlee, we praise your grace, In your embrace, we find our place.
