History

Known as "Brokestem Straights" for the sheer number of sunken vessels around this shoal, there are many ghost stories and sailor superstitions surrounding the Antigenes. The first historical mention of them by that name, however, was in Gatton Gagnon's seminal work entitled Widow's Bane, published by Kowloon Press in 893NG. A work of fiction, it is a tale of the Shoals as living creatures. Malignant forces that steal away women's husbands and sons.

Tourism

There is a certain amount of "Dark Tourism"; but for the most part, the Antigenes are only frequented by fishermen.
