Canna- what, now? Report

General Summary

This report, covering a few sessions, has been a long assed timed coming :-)   The tomb of the Tolmec Emperor took some time for our intrepid heroes to navigate, but they out-thought most of the horrific situations they found themselves in, and were up to the fight when their progression brought them even deeper into the tomb. Using their brains, they figured out the air lock in the The Boathouse to get into the bottom layer, where they found the emperor's tomb defiled, and of course, the mummy of the emperor rose.
  As a gorgon.
The fight was fierce, and luck bolstered our Weavewalkers during the battle. And, when all was over, they discovered a tunnel had been excavated directly into the room. Following it outside, they soon discovered they were on a completely different island! But hark, what light did, yonder, break? Turns out, it was a few torches. Approaching stealthily, from a distance they discovered their cabin boy, Stevie, tied to a long pole with a crank on one side of it. The moving parts of a cooking spit. In true Stevie fashion, the youngster was mercilessly ridiculing the tribesmen, mocking them in Common, a language they clearly could not understand. The vicious mocking did seem to be effective on some level, and as the Weavewalkers rushed to Stevie's rescue, the tribesmen melted away before their furious onslaught.
Stevie, having been rescued, begins immediately to annoy Forge and Wegloe Llank , although Tror Downwood seemed to be amused by the lads impudent remarks. Stevie is very good at making Wegloe Llank grumble.
After a mathematician's nightmare of retrieving the ship's boat from the Bonebreaker, anchored further north in the island's natural bay, they began to row toward the biggest island in the group, where the rest of their ship's crew was still encamped. A dense fog rolled in, however, and they became disoriented. Suddenly a voice filled the fog from all directions. An ugly, aggressive voice. The voice of the Sea Hag, Aglethal, tho the clueless Weavewalkers simply deigned to answer all of her riddles correctly. Lifting the fog, she allowed them to leave as per the ancient deal. However, she has made a private vow of vengeance.
