Imperial Household of Noam

The Imperial Household of Noam (Noamese: Эзэнхааны Өрх Но'амын, Riadicised: Ezenkhaany Örkh No'amyn), also referred to as the Imperial Family, is the royal family of Noam, consisting of the Qaghan and his close familial relations, all of whom undertake official public duties. The head of the Imperial Household, and its most influential member, is the Qaghan of Noam, Nominzol III, absolute monarch of the Qaghanate of Noam.

Other members of the royal family hold many positions of power and influence in the Noamese government, the military, the private sector, and throughout Noamese society. The combined personal net worth of the Imperial Family is estimated to be §33.96 billion (₮2.66 trillion). This figure includes the market capitalization of their 100% interest in the integrated Noamese sweetroot concession.

The core of the Imperial Household includes Qaghan Nominzol III and Ghatun Tsetseg; Crown Prince Taivanzol, his wife, Princess Chimeg and their children; Princes Batu, Nugai and Tarkhan and their families; and Princesses Khulan and Sarnai and their families. Other members include brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts and cousins of the Qaghan.

The official residence of the Imperial Household are the palaces of the Forbidden Court of the Celestial City in Samlazaz. They also enjoy the use of numerous other royal residences in nearly every part of Noam, as well as individually owning extensive real estate holdings throughout the country and abroad.

The Qaghans of Noam inherit the throne as members of the Mandal Baishin, successors of Qaghan Mandal III (1852-1912) for whom it is named, and as direct descendants of Khamgiin Ghan (c. 1162-1231). According to traditional Noamese historiography, succession to the Noamese throne is said to have originated with the Zun Baishin, established in the twentieth century BCS by the mythical Emperor Zögün the Great. The first verifiable historical evidence begins with Taban Ghan (c. 1679-1618 BCS), third emperor of the Zergiin Baishin.
