Los Guijarros
Los Guijarros (Salvoñol for "the pebbles"), is a delta formed where Shadowmountain Run meets Settler's Bay. The Delta forms a number of small islands (the pebbles), and is a popular location for fisherman from Puerto Rojo. Los Guijarros is also home to a number of military forts and outposts managed by the Iron Dominion, which monitor traffic entering Shadowmountain Run from the ocean.
History
Archeological evidence suggests that Los Guijarros have hosted a number of settlements throughout the history of Tellandria. The long-abandoned ruins of buildings similar in style to the ruins of Lower Valley Precursor suggest that Los Guijarros may have been an important location for the first civilizations of Chapel Valley.
The infamous Deepguard Keep, the Iron Dominion's fort built at the northern end of the delta, makes use of existing ruins abandoned by the Kingdom of Salvone at the end of the Dusk War. Though the God Wave didn't leave much behind in its wake, Dominion architects were able to build upon the existing stone foundation that was left more or less untouched by the tsunami.
