Dawn Session 1: Genesis
While traveling through the Reza Floodplains near the dwarven city of Khum Boram, the players will encounter what remains of a small encampment along the banks of the Bestalnahr. Upon closer inspection, players will discover that all of the denizens of the camp were taken without struggle into the river, and are currently located in the den of a Giant Water Spider. After fighting and defeating the Giant Water Spider, players will retrieve the only surviving member of the encampment, a Water Genasi man named Dimitrios Pepakis, who they will find paralyzed and restrained in webbing.
If players are nosy, they may discover early that Dimitiros is under the employ of Sovereign Ubar Nasir of Ahquet, and that he is a Law Keeper from the Oretrian Polis Chairos. They may also find the Contract given to Dimitrios by Sovereign Nasir, and discover that Dimitrios has been hired to assist the Sovereign in developing marital laws for the city of Ahquet.
As the players escort Dimitrios to the city of Ahquet, they will witness the Genesis of a new deity, as a bright red object will fall from the sky and strike the earth somewhere southwest of Ahquet.
