Ionaigh

Mordekainen Goddess of the Cleansing Flame. First generation Dwarven goddess. Appears as a tauric being, with the head, arms, and upper torso of a dwarven woman and the lower body of a gargantuan magma beetle. Her humanoid half starts out as a flawless white marble at her head and through to her shoulders, but steadily darkens to a reflective, obsidian-like black until the point of transition between woman and insect. Here, the body becomes perfectly translucent glass down to a molten core that glows with an intense, fluid heat. This light is most prominent in the center of the beetle portion’s mass and at the tips of each of her legs, where the fluid escapes its glass confines to leave a trail of red-hot crystal everywhere she travels on the mortal plane. Has a number of cults dedicated to her, but most have different definitions of the meaning of the word 'cleansing'. Some do seek to clean and heal, while others simply burn things (and people) to ash at the slightest hint of corruption.
