Inkton

Inkton, is quite possibly the most unusual city that has existed above ground in this region. Built in the direct center of the High Moor is probably the largest contributing factor in this.
This city has been built up over the millennia, as its start was sometime near the start of the Lost Histories. Originally it was built upon the bones of numerous large beasts, and overtime on the bones of itself. this city is where the Clairvoyant was first established.
This city features vast swamps that protect it from outside forces, and a supernatural connection to the arcane and the elemental planes, primarily the plane of water. It is unknown how the city, and the surrounding regions gained this rare connection, but it has greatly affected the city and its citizens.
The citizens who were born here and are 2nd or more generations within the city almost all have some innate magical abilities. This city, while large, has the smallest population of the three big cities at around 45,000.
Since the Engine created roads and the Lightning Rail system travel to and from Inkton has been made much easier. whereas before it required a few weeks of travel through the High Moor with skilled guides and specialized equipment, it can now be traveled on foot, or via other modes of transportation on the roadways.
