Short and stout, but with a heart bigger than most, Gilda is the embodiment of goodness and pureness in the world. Despite having an ego just as big as her heart is, her true nature is betrayed by the sheer overreaching power of her cocky attitude. Truthfully downcast and rather depressed, she has for many years sought to prove her worth to her people. Little did she know she would with a small adventure.
Gaining some notoriety with K'anth and others who traveled across Aldaria to free it from the grips of the White Queen, Gilda was among the first of the group to suggest them carving out against the Draconic Empire. The first to express her desire to help the poor and innocent people of the continent. Always at the forefront and believing in faith and people, her heart remained true until her untimely end. Leaving a large mark on the remaining group.
Physical Description
Strong, burly, tough, and easily able to barrel through a few enemies by tumbling down through them. Though, her skill was much more in the field of being agile for a Ghe'tani. Able to skip and step across places people of her normal stature wouldn't, she found herself out of many a sticky situation from these light steps.
Mental characteristics
Of her people, Gilda was both blessed and cursed. Gifted and skilled in the art of geomancy and the control of the earth and its elements, she crafted a weapon that no other could contend with its strength. A crossbow with metallic limbs that only she could curl backwards from her control of the metal. Quite the feet. She however was also cursed with the affinity for bows and her ineptitude with anything other than such a weapon. A mark of cowardice among her people, she was never quite accepted.
Upon finding herself in the ragtag group that banded together though, she found her family, people she would die for. Acting as a the charismatic face for a good portion of their adventure, a cocky laugh and attitude was betrayed over time by a sensitive and delicate inner portion that was broken in time. Perhaps she might have changed further had the dragon swung slower.
Victory over the White Queen, awarded posthumously and honored among her people back home.
Depressive spikes from her past traumas of never being good enough for her people and never truly accepted.
History
Gilda and Vei'lla did not spend much time together. As their travels across towards the great draconic lands were fairly quick and filled with peril. They did have time to converse briefly at times in their travels and with a close enough circle of friends, assumed a likeness of each other in time.
History
Gilda and Tress were an insufferable pair together. In times where there wasn't combat, Gilda would harass Tress or others with jokes and Tress would only add fuel to her fire by not understanding or going along with them to bring hi-jinks to whatever was happening. Good friends until the end.
History
Two kindred spirits. K'anth and Gilda shared a fairly similar story in terms of being outcast or otherwise seen as lesser within their families for both their paths and natural skill in whatever element they claimed. This connection between them created a friendship that spanned the differences between cultures and ideologies that blossomed into a very strong bond. K'anth did not find peace in her death.
History
While the small figure and plated knight often found differences on many topics, they did have a mutual respect. These pair eventually found a common group and enjoyed each others company despite the overbearing attitude of Gilda. She found herself to be quite funny, despite using it as a cover for her true intentions, attitudes, and motivations. Rhae saw her as a valuable friend and ally, and cursed himself when he was not there for her fall.
Friend (Important)
Towards Cairen Witherrose
History
As with most of Cairen's connections, they often appeared to be one sided in their admiration. But their was a quiet appreciation of the other often times, even though Gilda in many times tried to rile up and fluster the darker caster to no avail. They both appreciated the other's skills in battle and shared a fairly similar story, even though they never spoke about such. Cairen never truly did feel he did enough in her passing.
