Djuradja Svanhildr (a.k.a. Grey-Eyed Fire)

Djuradja, born and raised in Rilingsvile, was possessed by a fiend as a child and when no cleric or paladin could remove it, was driven out of her village straight into the arms of the Society of the Sacred Hunt: a religious order dedicated to the vanquishing of evil--no matter the cost--and widely distrusted for their practice of Hemocraft, blood magic.

Physical Description

Identifying Characteristics

The gray-eyed fire: Djuradja's pale gray eyes are illuminated from within, as if by a flickering candleflame. Normally the flame is dormant, but it flares with strong emotions and the usage of hemocraft. Most beings find it unsettling, like being watched by a dangerous predator.

Djuradja attended Anundi Academy, a boarding school in Ostinath run by the Order of Saint Perrak, the religious arm of the Society of the Sacred Hunt. In addition to your garden variety reading, writing, and arithmetic, Anundi focuses its curriculum on the study of monsters and magic. Djuradja studied Alchemy in particular. After Anundi, Djuradja served as an Apprentice Hunter under Tepclol.

Employment

After passing the Rite of the Sacred Hunt Djuradja formally joined the Society of the Sacred Hunt and dedicated her life to hunting darkness and evil. As a young Hunter, she works primarily as a traveling mercenary, dispelling evil by commission.

Family Ties

Djuradja's parents and her sister are--to the best of her knowledge--still alive and well back in Rilingsvile. They have not been in contact since Djuradja left to attend Anundi Academy. Djuradja is only pleased they're still alive because she believes they deserve to suffer beneath the guilt of what they did to her for a very long time.
