Physical Description

Apparel & Accessories

Vincent the Black wears pitch black Shardplate he won during the Crimson Succession Wars. He also wields the Tertius family Shardblade, 'Knight's Fall'. It is shaped like a rapier, with a brass alloy hand-guard. He tends to wear an off - white sash around his soldier to signify his duty as a Knight of Justice, which is pinned with a brass medallion.

Personal history

Vincent quickly rose through the ranks of knighthood. He was proven when he was 16, and inducted into the Order of Judicial Knights when he was 20. He was named Lord when he was 35, and given the total Arcon when he was 40, he has been serving as Epidicus' closest adviser ever since. The many critics of Epidicus' regime were angered by this appointment, arguing that Vincent has many a skeleton in his pocket, such as the Boarhaven incident and 'The Crash of the Alaxyios'. The Grand Inquisitor went ahead with the honoring anyway, leading to rumours that Vincent has the Lord's ear in some way.
He has bored a bloody slash through Braccia, having a no mercy approach to lawbreakers and heretics. His attitude to his chosen calling, along with his pitch black Shardplate quickly earned him the nickname "The Black".

Vincent is Lawful Good in alignment, and sees deviation from the path akin to treason.
