Vatorum is in good health. Some bar regulars claim to see him move at supersonic speed, while other claim him to be a withered old man (despite his constant public appearances).

Vatorum makes a point of not clothing himself in the fruits of his labour. He wears reserved, dark clothing and carries a plain Cain around with him.

Personal history

Vatorum's background is a mystery. His name is that of an old noble house of Everweld, from before the current age. When he came to power his competitors were quick to point this out, however they were "exiled" by Vatorum's agents before any serious repercussions were drawn from this. After wresting control of the city, through a vast array of spies, agents and assassins, Vatorum was initially disliked. He scaled down farming in favor of mining, the farmland surrounding the city gaining a distaste for him that they have not lost to this day. However after it became abundantly clear that Vatorum's plans helped the population as a whole, most citizens of Everweld accepted their new ruler. The homeless population, along with the juvenile gangs, hold Vatorum as one of them. Vatorum allows this as it gives them the supreme success story, leading to smaller chance of revolution.

Education

Vatorum attended the Principalatarium University in Braccia, slightly to the west of Everweld, where he studied a gentlemen's education. It is rumored that he then returned to the Cthonic Colleges to study magic, but as with most things to do with Vatorum's past, these are unsubstantiated.
