Life Vine

A plant native to most of Tarsis, live vines cover a variety of plant species that all process maiga for energy over traditional photosynthesis. They are unique in that they don't require water either, making them useful as wiring and power cables. The side effects of consuming maiga for food seems to have made most life vine species functionally immortal, always growing unless confined so long as maiga is available. Found everywhere temperate, there is no shortage of life vine for technological use. It is synonymous with large or complex machinery where wood or stone pathways are impractical. Everything from mechans to household appliances use live vine wires and cables.
