Naga

Naga resemble enormous snakes with shoulders, arms, and a torso that resembles a humanoid form. They live primarily in and around the Sagu Jungle, their ancestral home.

Civilization and Culture

Culture and Cultural Heritage

As the result of a pact Tasigur made with Silumgar, the naga hold minimal power in the clan. Often they serve as translators of the Silumgar clan as a quick way to gain influence and standing.

Common Myths and Legends

Under their breath, naga spread rumors that they are distantly related to the dragons in order to connect their lineage to the power of the ancient dragons.

Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Poison Resilience. You have advantage on saving throws against poison, and you have resistance against poison damage.   Molting Snakeskin. You can shed your skin and end one of the following conditions if it is affecting you: blinded, deafened, or poisoned. You can shed your skin a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Behind closed doors, the naga claim to be related to the dragons, but in practice they hold minimal power in the clan. With her unmatched necromantic powers, the undead naga Sidisi is the only thing keeping the rest in any position of influence. Her ability to threaten, sway, and remove other politicians keeps Sidisi at Silumgar's side, whispering tales to the dragon—some to lull and some to disturb. The naga translators of the Silumgar clan are often the first and fastest to gain favor. They are also the first to abuse what they have earned.
