Magic Banned in Eldoria

Pressured by continued protests and fearing that the magi will assassinate him, Emperor Kern d'Uthar XVI of Eldoria declares arcane magic illegal. He emphasizes the point by arresting and executing his own arcane advisor. Public mobs imitate his tactics, burning those suspected of arcane power in public squares. Magi go underground and and fight back. Most former Eldorian satellites follow the Emperor's lead and issue proclamations of their own.
