Copper Coins

Bits, pennies, farthings, farthings or simply coppers, these are the smallest denomination coin commonly found on Tarien.  Minted by every state treasury copper pieces can be round, square, or even octagon but are all generally of uniform sized. Given their value, most don't bother imprinting them with anything beyond their name.  They are, however, common amongst the marketplace being used heavily for most food and beverage transactions.
